 My hybrid art journal page for the Neet's 'Wings' theme at Art Journal Journey Challenge this month.   

I cropped the girl out from my hand painting on a scrap paper, and set her on the new digitally in the photoshop made 

 background, and finished the work making some digital painting on the girl's dress.

My hybrid work, which I created and layered in my photoshop program using my earlier hand with wet colored pencils painted girl face (beneath). Now I sett it on my new digitally made background. I chose for the background images from my archive, and typed the Thomas Eisner's quote on the background, which I made for the keychain image.

The hybrid art page above was made with my earlier hand painted face; now I made some digital painting on it and

set the face on my digitally designed background, on which I 

created some movement with a filter. I made the butterflies in different sizes with a digital stamping tool, and typed the quote.

The design and layering was made with freebie material in my photoshop program. I finished the work adding the Orton's filter technique that gives the girl a good start to fly, and to transform a fairy.

I created a 'Still Life' style card for the theme 'Literary' at 

Sunday Postcard Art.

The Nobel Prize in Literature is one of the five original Nobel Prizes and is the world's most prestigious award. It has been awarded by the Swedish Academy to distinguished authors since 1901. It's awarded yearly in early October.
